This busy bee is now an EW Community Contributor!!
As you know, I have great, steady work that keeps me very busy (you can tell by sifting through this blog), and now I'm pleased to announce that today -- yes, TODAY -- Entertainment Weekly launched a new community and I'm a part of it!
The EW Community is a blog fueled by fans (like me!) where we hope to engage more fans (like you!) to jump in and join conversations, debates and anything else a TV fan's heart desires with posts all about TV! I'll be attempting to draw you in with chatter about Chicago P.D. and House Hunters International as my initiation into The Community.
Here are some links to get you started:
Chicago P.D. recap: Family always comes first
Who knew the beach is so boring?
As a huge fan of Chicago Fire I jumped at the opportunity to cover Chicago P.D. It has the same personal feel as Chicago Fire that before the franchise launched was missing in procedural programs. It's a unique viewing experience and a show I'm proud to write about.
If you know me at all, you know it's my dream to move overseas, so the opportunity to write about TV with the added bonus of dissecting House Hunters International with all of the exotic locales and quirky buyers that come with it is like hitting the jackpot.
It's the first time I've covered either a procedural scripted drama or an "educational" reality show. I sincerely hope you'll join me on the new site and help me find my groove. Your comments always help drive the future coverage of shows because while it's nice to write about what I like, it's even better to engage in conversations about those likes with other people. People like you. How you respond to what I write will make a difference!
Joining me will be some other great personalities covering shows such as The Red Road, Hannibal, Parenthood, The Goldbergs, Dance Moms, soaps like General Hospital and even classics like Firefly. There is a lot to offer and plenty to discuss. Please drop by and join The Community!!
See you there!
